Art that quiets the noise

Contemporary abstract landscapes in mixed media.
For those who seek calm, slow living, and stillness in their space

🌿 Welcome to Mosslight Art

I create abstract landscape paintings rooted in emotion, atmosphere, and the quiet power of nature.
Each piece is a gentle conversation-with memory, with mood, with the stillness found in misty forests and wide open skies. My work is for those who long to turn their home into a sanctuary of peace and reflection.

In Light, We Rise

Hopes in the eyes and hearts that were torn,
Dreams clinging to threads, waiting to be reborn.
Staring towards the light of hope,
A bleeding soul, struggling to cope,
Fastened tight with destiny's dying rope.

One day we will also be complete,
Battling the dark abyss, we’ll find defeat.
One day we will dance in joy to the beat,
Hearts set free, alive, and quick to meet the beat.

Finding joy in hope to feed,
Tired but fulfilled to keep up your need.
As I see you bloom from a tiny seed,
A soft murmur of life daring to heed.

🌿 About Mosslight

I don’t paint the land itself. I paint my relationship with it.

Through watercolour, ink, and graphite, I explore landscapes as they pass through memory, emotion, and the body. My work is rooted in a quiet noticing, a way of responding to light on moss, the hush of fog across distant fields, or the wind that moves through grasses just before rain.

I begin not with detailed scenes, but with fragments- the feeling of standing somewhere wide and open, or the echo of a place I’ve never seen except in a dream.
Each painting is an attempt to hold onto something fleeting - not the view, but the mood it left behind.

Mosslight is the name I work under and the space where I gather these responses.
A place for expressive abstract landscapes, poetic reflection, and the quiet spirit of land and weather.

Thank you for being here.
